You want to blast large or complex parts? No problem: in SIGG pressure blasting cabins, workpieces that do not fit a blast wheel system can also be processed. SIGG pressure blasting cabins are available as standard in various sizes from 800 mm to 1,400 mm and in two versions. On the one hand with a conveying nozzle blower, on the other hand with a platform for comfortable working. From a pressure vessel the desired abrasive is fed with compressed air to the gun nozzle in the pressure blasting cabin. In principle, pressure blasting is suitable for both wet and dry blasting - we would be pleased to inform you about the various possibilities!

Why are pressure blasting cabins needed?

In pressure blasting cabins, the surface of the workpieces is processed more intensively than in an injector blasting system, so the efficiency is higher. This has proven to be particularly useful for blast cleaning in pressure blasting cabins. This is because even heavily rusted components can look shiny again with this process. The process is also suitable for smoothing or coarse blasting, for example as preparation for reliably adhering surface layers.

Full power for perfect workpieces

Pressure blasting systems vary in terms of their blasting power. The key to their effect is most importantly the pressure at the blasting nozzle. The abrasive throughput, the volume of compressed air flowing out, as well as the shape and diameter of the nozzle, are also important criteria, however. At flow speeds of 250 metres per second, very good surface performances can be achieved in pressure blasting cabins. We can adapt the pressure blasting systems according to your needs, for example by adding an automated turntable or an automated rotary drum for bulk materials.
