Blasting technology in electrical engineering - for clean surfaces and precise performance

Building elements, switching cabinets and PCBs benefit from blasting systems made in Germany

When it comes to developing and producing electrical devices, precision is key. Whether it be energy technology, drive technology, automation technology or electronic device technology - all sectors feature components made from a range of materials that benefit from blasting technology in electrical engineering. These includes components made from metal, such as switching cabinets, motor elements, turbines or fans, as well as injection moulded parts made from plastic for housings. Yet modern blasting technology in electrical engineering is also ideal for cleaning PCBs or sensitive measuring and control units.

The best solution would be to talk to us directly if you want to know more about how blasting technology can be used in electrical engineering. We would be delighted to advise you and, if necessary, determine the ideal combination of blasting systems, blasting medium and pressure for your specific application in our own test laboratory. Smart Home or electromobility - electrical engineering is booming

According to figures from the Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V., the electrical engineering industry in Germany accounts for eleven per cent of Germany's industrial production. A third of the total turnover of Euro 195 billion in 2018 was achieved with innovative products. At 44 per cent, the electrical industry has the highest added value quota of all major sectors of industry in Germany. Top of the list in the portfolio, accounting for 78 per cent, are industrial goods for automation, energy technology and medical technology. Intermediate goods such as semi-conductors account for around 12 per cent, while 10 per cent is made up of consumer goods such as household appliances, entertainment electronics and lighting.

Automation helps reduce costs

Given that manufacturing costs in electrical engineering account for around 65 per cent of the overall costs, automated processes for blasting technology in electrical engineering are especially important. Our blasting systems can, if necessary, be designed with partial or full automation in order to make particularly cost-effective and efficient use of blasting technology in electrical engineering. This means that the systems with modern robots can be loaded and unloaded automatically. Our technicians configure each system for blasting technology in electrical engineering so that it matches the customer's specifications exactly and integrates perfectly into production routines.

Use our experience in the field of blasting technology in electrical engineering and benefit from our systems that are made in Germany. Find out more by calling +49 (0) 7741 808 93 0 or send us an e-mail outlining your requirements to info(at)sigg-strahltechnik(dot)de.
